Congratulations to me for having kept this blog up for an entire year. The good thing about a history blog is that unlike contemporary news, the content doesn't get old - it already is old. I've already mined a lot of the easy pickings, so I suspect that entries will slow to a trickle soon. Still, the material will remain online as a resource for those interested.
Congrats, Mark!
ReplyDeleteHaving just discovered your blog this past month I have enjoyed the time spent delving into your past posts. I applaud you for your effort to post as frequently as you do. Job well done.
ReplyDeleteI only discovered your blog recently, but as someone whose blog consists mostly of me drooling over old photos of Boston-area railroads, I have really enjoyed it for the short time I've been reading. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteCongrats - like one of the other commenters, I just discovered this recently and I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts. I have it bookmarked and check in frequently.

Mark I love your blog! Don't worry about running out of things to talk about Boston 1776 has been going strong for years and he is only talking about one historic year in Boston. I am the one who has to get back to work on my Boston Quotes
ReplyDeleteLooks like from the comments I have a few new blogs to add to my subscription list also.
Jan - thanks for the comment. Boston 1775 has the Revolutionary War and over 200 years of literature to work with. I focus on lost buildings of significance - leaner material, for sure.
